Course Material and License Agreement
Students understand and agree to, by signing up for the course, that all materials presented are the property of Spyder Forensics and / or the partner content creators, and cannot be reproduced, emulated or copied for any purposes other than for their professional obligations as law enforcement or contract personnel supporting law enforcement or their professional duties. The materials are non-transferrable and cannot be used or licensed without explicit permission granted by Spyder Forensics or the course creator.
Student Comments and Course Evaluations
Spyder Forensics reserves the right to use comments made on evaluation forms in promotional material. If you prefer your comments not be used, please let us know and we would be happy to comply.
Payment Terms
If paying by Credit Card, payment in full is expected 30 days prior to the start of class, a service fee of 3% may also be assessed. If paying by Purchase Order, the purchase order should be received 30 days prior to the start of class. Spyder Forensics will follow up with an invoice. YOUR SEAT IS NOT GUARANTEED UNTIL PAYMENT IS MADE IN FULL.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend the class, you can cancel without penalty 30 days prior to the start of the class and receive a credit note for attendance in the same course type within a 12-month period. If you cancel within 30 days of the class, you will receive a 50% refund credit note towards any Spyder Forensics class within a 12-month period.
Joining Instructions
Important Information! Receipt of joining instructions confirms that a course will take place, these will be sent to delegates up to 2 weeks prior to the start date of the course. An acknowledgement letter or invoice must not be seen as confirmation that a course will definitely run. Please contact the Training department before making any travel arrangements if you are in any doubt about the course taking place.
Course Confirmation
Spyder Forensics reserves the right to cancel a class up to thirty days in advance. An acknowledgement letter or invoice must not be seen as confirmation that a course will definitely run. Please contact the Training department before making any travel arrangements if you are in any doubt about the course taking place. In the event that a course is canceled, students will have the choice of receiving a refund check sent via mail or choosing to take another class in the future. If the class the student wished to take is a different price, the necessary payment to Spyder Forensics will be made by the student or a refund will be provided by Spyder Forensics.
ACCIDENT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
I HEREBY ASSUME ALL OF THE RISKS OF PARTICIPATING IN ANY/ALL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS TRAINING EVENT, including by way of example and not limitation, any risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained, or controlled by them, or because of their possible liability without fault.
I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently prepared or trained for participation in this activity, and have not been advised to not participate by a qualified medical professional. I certify that there are no health-related reasons or problems which preclude my participation in this activity.
In consideration of my application and permitting me to participate in this activity, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows:
(A) I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me including my traveling to and from this activity, THE FOLLOWING ENTITIES OR PERSONS: Spyder Forensics, LLC, and/or their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents, and the activity holders, sponsors, and volunteers;
(B) INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE the entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in this activity, whether caused by the negligence of release or otherwise.
I acknowledge that Spyder Forensics, and their directors, officers, volunteers, representatives, and agents are NOT responsible for the errors, omissions, acts, or failures to act of any party or entity conducting a specific activity on their behalf.
I agree that the Terms and Conditions shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.
